GearmanD is a career server prepared in C less than the BSD license that has all of the most current protocol additions. Development for this is quite lively, with threading, persistent queues, and pluggable protocols now supported.
Replication and better figures reporting are coming soon. This installs an executable identified as 'gearmand' ( usually in /usr/ nearby /sbin). The C library, libgearman, is bundled in the same package deal.
