dosfstools is an open supply job that is made up of that pursuing utilities: dosfsck, dosfslabel and mkdosfs.

dosfsck is the Linux equal of Laptop /MS-DOS' CHKDSK. It checks the consistency of Laptop /MS-DOS file systems and optionally attempts to repair service them. The tests dosfsck performs are explained in the male web page.
