SettingSanity is a Firefox extension that re-implements the choices to disable/ allow JavaScript and images in the Content tab of the Preferences dialog.
It also adds toolbar buttons, so you can very easily disable image and JavaScript, without having opening the Alternatives window. SettingSanity is a cost-free add -on designed to get the job done with Mozilla Firefox 23. Alpha 1 and afterwards.
