EZ Drag-n-Drop is a Firefox extension that will allow consumers to drag and drop files from their pc to file input fields on web pages, devoid of the need to click a Browse button and research for the respective file(s).

· further occasion propagation is no lengthier prevented
· works now with any DOM element, not only with HTML input components of form "file"
· supports dropping a directory, in which case all files ( first - level kids ) are becoming dropped (sub-directories excluded, no recursion...)
· employs event delegation now, as an alternative of person event listeners
· debug messages available, by manually configuring about:config
· files are accessible as a readonly FileList object, positioned on event.target.files alternatively of occasion.dataTransfer.files
· for protection motives, only EXTERNAL drags are taken into consideration, not drags from firefox itself ( deal with bar, sidebar,...)
· does not perform anymore on Firefox 3. 6... Remain on version one. 2 if you cannot update at least to Firefox four.
