Linaro Toolchain Binaries is an open source binary package built by Linaro to include ready to use binaries of Linaro's GCC and GDB tools. It also includes a statically linked gdbserver, a system root and manuals.
Linaro Toolchain Binaries can be successfully used for cross compiling ARM applications from your notebook, remote debugging, as well as building the Linux kernel for your ARM board.
