Distant XUL (XUL via HTTP) has been taken out from Firefox four. See bug 546857 for much more info. Even so, there will even now be a whitelist that enables remote XUL access on a domain level.

Distant XUL Manager is a Firefox and SeaMonkey extension that provides a basic administration window that permits any person to increase and clear away domains from the whitelist. It can be accessed from the Resources menu or the Developer submenu in the principal Software menu.
