GhostBSD is a free, open source, FreeBSD-based and user friendly desktop operating system distributed with the Openbox, Xfce, LXDE, and MATE desktop environments.
GhostBSD is an advanced BSD operating system for specially crafted for the x86, including Athlon and Pentium, and amd64, including Athlon 64, Opteron, EM64T, compatible architectures.
Being based on the FreeBSD project, GhostBSD incorporates its next-gen package management system, the Apache OpenOffice and the LibreOffice office suites, LibreCAD, as well as the Eclipse and Anjuta development environments for C, C++, JavaScript, Java, Python and Jala programming languages.
